Skim across the lake and the canals of the Wörlitz Gardens in a gondola and soak up the unique atmosphere of the place…
To cruise in a gondola across the Wörlitz lake or the »Wolfskanal« (lit. Wolf’s Canal – named after a local farmer whose fields are adjacent) is an experience not to be missed. Discover new and unknown prospects of the Wörlitz Gardens and surrender to the calm that will surround you.
Gondola tours start by the pier (»Gondelstation«) near the Schloss and last approximately 45 minutes. The route leads across the Wörlitz lake to the »Kleines Walloch« (lit. small dike hole – one of the smaller waters in the garden), through the »Wolfskanal« past the Gothic House and back to the pier.
